Food and drinks are not included in the villa rental price.  The villa staff will take care of all your grocery shopping. You only pay the retail price with no “mark-ups”. Our villa staff prepare all meals, provide breakfast, lunch and dinner service. The chef can prepare and cook any food you wish.

Our all-inclusive meal plan includes breakfast, lunch and dinner for $50 per person per day ($30 for children 4-12 years). The plan includes non-alcoholic beverages (such as sodas, soft drinks, bottled water, tea and coffee) available throughout the day, as well as national alcoholic beverages like local beers and rum. Meals are served buffet style, with a variety of dishes set out on a table for guests to serve themselves (a menu is available upon request by email). As an alternative for guests that aren’t planning to eat all their meals at the villa they may pay a deposit to cover only the food they need. Receipts will be provided and guests may add additional funds at anytime if needed. 

We have a limited selection of wines (Lunardi Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet), Prosecco and liquor at the villa for sale. The grocery/liquor store is just 5 min from our villa. We have 2 vehicles at the villa. On the day you arrive our manager can take you to the grocery store to buy the wines you like, liquor, anything else you need. During your stay just let the manager know what you need from the grocery store, they will take care of it. Grocery shopping is included in the service charge.

No. When you rent the villa, the entire property is only exclusive for your use including all facilities at the villa. Your privacy will be uncompromised as Villa Cocomar is nestled on 2-acre beachfront setting with lush manicured gardens within a gated area.

Villa Cocomar has a full-time staff that is inclusive in the rental price. The staff includes a dedicated chef, villa manager, housekeepers, maintenance, gardener, concierge, 24 hour security and a massage therapist (please inquire for treatments and costs).

The massages are $60 for one hour (spa menu available by email). We have a massage therapist who is part of our villa staff, massages are available any time of the day (no bookings required)

Our property consists of a beachfront villa with 4 bedrooms and second house with 10 bedrooms in total 14 bedrooms all with ensuite bath.

The beach house (4 bedrooms) has 2 Master suites with king beds and extra living space and sofa on the second floor. These are our most spacious rooms. Two rooms on the ground floor, one with a king bed facing the ocean, one with a queen bed. The beach house has an air conditioned living room with TV.

The second building has 10 bedrooms (5 on ground floor 5 on second floor), ideal for those who prefer more privacy as the main gathering points (dining area, swimming pool, hot tub) are by the beach house. All 10 bedrooms are identical in terms of layout, interior furniture. Each floor has one room with two queen size beds, the other rooms have king size beds.

Facilities at the villa include a private beach, swimming pool, lounging areas, outdoor dining, entertainment, game areas, private bar, a spa on the beach.

Our gym is for the exclusive use of our guests and includes elliptical cross trainer, treadmill, home bike, Peloton bike, flat incline bench, dumbbells 5-50 lbs, kettle bells, push up bars, jumping rope, physio balls, yoga mats etc.

Step 2 – Fill out and complete all information required in the form and click SUBMIT.

Once your inquiry is submitted, we will respond to you by email or phone within or less than 24 hours. Once you decide to book, a booking agreement will be sent to you along with the payment instruction and procedure. Upon confirmation of booking the villa, a deposit of 50% will be required.Once payment is received, your booking is confirmed. The other 50% will be collected closer to your arrival date. The refund policy is entirely up to the owner.

Our villa is 30 min from the Puerto Plata (POP) International Airport and 80 minutes from Santiago airport (STI) with more flights from the States.

Please contact guests services we are happy to arrange 2-way airport transfer from Puerto Plata airport (POP) or any other airport in the Dominican Republic. The cost depends on the number of guests and which airport you arrive.

Smoking is prohibited in any indoor areas at the villa. However, there are many outdoor areas at the villa where guests are allowed to smoke.

Yes, we have a 5-night minimum stay. For short term bookings (within 6 months of your booking dates) 4 nights. During peak holiday periods, such as Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, the minimum rental period is 7 nights.

Our check in time is usually from 3 pm and check out time 12 noon. Depending on whether or not the property has been occupied with by other guests on your arrival day, an early check may be available.

Similarly, if the property is not expecting guests on the day of your departure and your flight isn’t until early evening, arrangements can be made for a later check-out at no extra charge.

Yes, if there is sufficient room. Our villa can accommodate to up to 28 adults, families with children can be flexible.

Yes, we offer courtesy holds of 72 hours with no financial obligations.

Paying for your villa rental fee can be done through either a bank transfer, check or PayPal.

If you wish to pay by credit card you can do this via a third-party rental agency (VRBO, Airbnb etc.) However, while payment via credit card may be more convenient additional charges of up to 10% apply.

Our villa is fabulous location for your special day. We can put you in contact with local wedding planers to organize the details.

Cabarete is one of the safest vacation areas in the Caribbean. You should feel completely comfortable traveling outside of the villa. We have been accommodating guests since 2001 from all the over world and never had any issues with security.

A $1000 USD refundable deposit is required as specified in your Rental Agreement to be returned to the guest on the day of departure.

We can arrange for you to rent any size of vehicle. For your convenience our villa has 2 vehicles we use for daily grocery shopping etc. you wouldn’t really need a car, as we have local trusted taxi drivers on call 24/7.

Our villa has broadband internet connection (20 MG) throughout the property. Most of our bedrooms have TV with cable, some have IP based streaming service with American and European channels.

We charge a 10% service charge (of rental amount) to be paid on the day of your departure which is distributed among all 11 villa staff members.
